Michael Tartamella AIA was elevated to Managing Principal of Patrick Ahearn Architect at the beginning of 2018. Since joining the firm in 2005, Michael has excelled in providing outstanding design and project management on many of the firm’s most significant projects and he has demonstrated a profound aptitude and commitment to the firm’s unique approach to creating timeless architecture. With over 20 years of experience, Michael has gained knowledge and expertise in a variety of project types, prior to joining Patrick Ahearn Architect, including working with architectural firms in New England, Long Island and Washington DC. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Roger Williams University in Rhode Island, is a licensed architect, a member of the Boston Society of Architects, and serves on the board of the New England chapter of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art. His leadership, organization, creativity and attention to detail make him an integral part of the Patrick Ahearn Architect team.
For more than 40 years, Patrick Ahearn Architect work has spanned a multitude of classic styles of architecture from City Town Houses to Island Homes. With offices in both the Historic Back Bay neighborhood of Boston and on the island of Martha’s Vineyard, these environments provide a rich and fertile background for the creation of classical timeless architecture, appropriate and in scale to each locale. Their award winning work covers a broad spectrum of projects in the United States including master planning, new construction, historic renovation and restoration.
