John Rufo, AIA has over two decades in the business of making places.  He is one of the principles at Form + Place, a Newton, MA based architectural firm.  Form + Place was founded in 2011 with the goal of helping private, non-profit and public-sector clients formulate initial development visions and bring them to reality through a creative and collaborative design process.  With over twenty years of experience in commercial, institutional and residential architecture and planning, John’s projects span all commercial building types from retail, office, hospitality and mixed-use master planning to more intimately scaled residences, schools and retail boutiques.

John has a fascinating story and deep insights on form based code and commercial development as it pertains to the human experience.  In addition, he is an accomplished artist.
