Design Services

Hawthorn Builders is committed to providing its clients with a best experience possible when building their new home, addition, or remodel project. Part of this experience is having access to design professionals with the expertise and vision to help you throughout the process.

Initial Consultation - Whether you are building a new home or starting a addition/remodeling project, we start with an initial design consultation to discuss your project and establish your scope of work for the new space. During this meeting we will also establish a preliminary budget for design services. Once the scope has been established we will enter into a Design Services agreement.

Preliminary Design - After our initial consultation, we will meet to review the design concepts for the rooms specified in the scope. Our Designer will work closely with you during this phase to adjust the design and make sure the spaces are meeting your needs, both aesthetically and functionally.

Final Design and Specifications - Once the collaborative design process is completed, you will work with our designer and preferred vendors to choose all the finish materials. The Designer will advise you on options, explain applicable trade-offs, and make sure your choices are in line with the project budget.
